After three years of law school, many law students are shocked to find out they need a California bar review course in order to pass the state bar exam. This state is reputed for having one of the most difficult bar exams to pass. The full exam occurs over three days and takes 18 hours to complete.
The exam includes the same multi-state bar (MBE) exam questions that are found on every state’s bar exam. It also has a long essay section and question sections that can address any range of the seventeen legal topics the exam might include. Most of these legal areas are based on the federal and common law taught in the law school. However, at least five of these areas test your knowledge of California law in particular.

They should cover both the MBE portion as well as all seventeen spheres of law on the exam. They should also provide you assistance and feedback on the how to write a passing essay.
If you prefer not to attend a live class, you can take canned courses online or purchase book and DVD sets that give you sample tests, tips, and content. These recorded courses can’t give you personal assistance your essay writing, but there are other online test prep sites that can help you with this.
